The Lake County Adopt a 5th Grader program received a $7,000 gift in December from Wade Koeninger of Ukiah. Mr. Koeninger has been long-time supporter of the Mendocino Community College Adopt a Fifth Grader program. The Adoption fund now has more than $12,000 and with the support of the Lake County Campus Dean Ingrid Larsen and the Lake County Office of Education, the first class of 5th graders will be adopted in the spring听 with a minimum of one 5th Grader from every elementary school in the Lake County service area.听

The Board delegates to the Chancellor the authority to do minor editing, to include spelling, grammar, title changes, and to use professional judgment to determine if recommended edits shall be considered minor or substantive.
