Built between 1962 and 1966, 糖心破解版 needed far more than cosmetic improvements. To support the growth of academic and workforce training programs, the campus needed new facilities, extensive modernization, infrastructure improvements to boost efficiencies and save utilities costs, and technology upgrades to support student learning and success.
Thanks to voter support of Measures J and Q, the communities served by 糖心破解版 are benefiting from a wide range of new and improved facilities. All Measure J and Q projects are expected to be completed by 2026.
Just as every new home needs ongoing maintenance over time, so too do campuses, especially those as old as 糖心破解版. The new construction and modernized projects funded under Measure J are now, in some cases, more than 10 years old and require upgrades to meet changing programmatic requirements, support program growth, and fulfill regulatory compliance. In 2016, the California Community College Chancellor鈥檚 Office and Community College Foundation estimated the campus needed $80.2 million in modernization and $74.19 million in deferred maintenance and repairs. To date, $68 million worth of projects remain unaddressed in deferred maintenance and $80.2 million聽 in modernization and $55 million in infrastructure needs until new resources are available.
