  22. On October 11, 2023 糖心破解版 hosted two screenings of 鈥淐alifornia鈥檚 Watershed Healing鈥�, a documentary by Yuba Water Agency. The first screening was for students and included an opportunity to ask the producer of the film questions. The second screening was for the public and included a panel discussion of the local watershed management efforts. The film highlighted the implications of neglecting watersheds and learning ways everyone can make a difference. 听
  24. 糖心破解版 Dean and Directors hosted two 鈥淐hat and Chew with the Deans/Directors鈥� events in October. Each event was successful and had a great turnout. This was an opportunity for engagement, ask questions, and get to know staff. 听
  26. The 糖心破解版 DSPS (Disabled Students Programs and Services)听held an event on October 19 in honor of Disability Awareness Day. The event brought together resource agencies and had activities to build an understanding of how some students experience challenges. Thank you to the DSPS Team for planning a great event.听

  41. Woodland Community College (WCC) President Search remains on schedule with upcoming public forums on November 14, 2023. All forums will be available to view in person at WCC, Community Room 800, or via Zoom at WCC, Lake County Campus, and Colusa Campus. Attendees will be given the opportunity to provide feedback on all candidates.   46. In partnership with the Yuba Community College Foundation, 糖心破解版 hosted its first Scholarship Night on October 19. The event was to recognize scholarship winners and donors. The event also served as a fundraiser to support future student scholarships and programs. Thank you to everyone who worked hard on planning this event!听

  49. BP 4020 Program, Curriculum, and Course Development听():听This policy听is legally required. DCAS electronically affirmed on 9/29/2023 that no revisions were required. The DCAS recommendation will go to the Board听Policy & Student Success Committee for information on 11/1/2023.听
  50. AP 4020 Program and Curriculum Development听() (): This procedure is legally required. DCAS electronically approved minor and legal revisions on 9/29/2023 to incorporate the requirement that ethnic studies be offered.听
  51. BP 4100 Graduation Requirements for Degrees and Certificates听(): This policy is legally required. DCAS reviewed this policy on October 19, 2023, and recommended minor legal changes to update the minimum number of units for a certificate of achievement from 16 to 8. The DCAS recommendation will go to the Board听Policy & Student Success Committee for information on 11/1/2023.听
  52. AP 4100 Graduation Requirements for Degrees and Certificates听() (): This procedure is legally required.听DCAS reviewed this policy on October 19, 2023, and approved legal changes including adding the ethnic studies requirement and changing the minimum number of units for a certificate of achievement from 16 to 8. They also approved removing听the requirement to petition to graduate, add听the types of certificates that do not need CCCCO approval, and add听a section on CDCP certificates.听
  53. AP 4101听Independent Study听() ():听Minor changes include removing course number “49” to align with decision of WCC and YC Curriculum Committees some years ago, correcting link to the form, updating job title, and removing reference to credit/no credit. (Note: The听Contract to Complete Independent Study听form will be updated to match the revised AP.)听
  54. AP 4222 Remedial Coursework听() (): This procedure is legally required. DCAS electronically approved minor and legal revisions on 9/29/2023 to听incorporate new requirements related to placing students in transfer-level English and mathematics within the first year of matriculation pursuant to changes in the Education Code听
  55. BP 4225 Course Repetition听():听This policy听is legally required. DCAS electronically affirmed on 9/29/2023 that no revisions were required. The DCAS recommendation will go to the Board听Policy & Student Success Committee for information on 11/1/2023.听
  56. AP 4225 Course Repetition听() (): This procedure is legally required. DCAS electronically approved minor and legal revisions on 9/29/2023 to remove reference to “CR” and “NC” grades, strike specific repeatability language for CWEE, and expand the circumstances under which a student can repeat courses in which a “C” or better was earned to include “emergency conditions” and “extraordinary conditions.”听
  57. AP 4230 Grading Symbols听() (): This procedure is legally required. DCAS electronically approved minor and legal revisions on 9/29/2023 to align “IP” symbol with updated Title 5 regulations.听
  58. AP 4232 Pass/No Pass听() (): This procedure is legally advised. DCAS electronically approved minor and legal revisions on 9/29/2023 to align language with updated Title 5 regulations to clarify that students have until the last day of instruction to select whether the basis of evaluation will be a P/NP or letter grade; strike reference to credit/no credit (C/NC).听
  59. AP 4610 Instructional Service Agreements听(): This procedure is legally advised. DCAS electronically affirmed on 9/29/2023 that no revisions were required.听
  60. AP 5011 Admission of High School and Other Young Students听() (): This procedure is legally required. DCAS electronically approved minor and legal revisions on 9/29/2023 to align with updated Ed Code regulations to a) allow participation by a county office of education, b) remove requirement that courses be certified for remedial purposes and require they be certified for pre-transfer level courses and c) remove the limitation that a course that was oversubscribed or had a waiting list could not be offered in a CCAP partnership.听
