The District, 糖心破解版, and Woodland Community College聽 will respond promptly when the Title IX Coordinator receives a report of sex discrimination, including sexual harassment and violence. If you are interested in filing a formal complaint/report to the College related to an incident of sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual violence, stalking, etc. or are interested in meeting with someone to discuss the Title IX complaint process, please聽.

  • 罢丑别听Complainant聽is the individual who is alleged to be the victim of conduct that could constitute sexual harassment.
  • 罢丑别听Respondent聽is an individual who has been reported to be the perpetrator of conduct that could constitute sexual harassment.

To the extent possible, we聽will respect your autonomy in deciding how to proceed and whether or not you would like to move forward with a formal complaint. Individuals have the opportunity to decide whether they want to pursue a formal Title IX complaint. Reporting sexual harassment to the Title IX Coordinator does not automatically initiate an investigation. By reporting, we can provide a wide variety of resources and supportive measures to impacted individuals and prevent a reoccurrence of the conduct. We will explain your option to file or not to file a formal complaint and will discuss the complaint grievance process with you.

The Title IX Coordinator, or designee, will notify you if a formal Title IX complaint, or a complaint alleging other violations ofthe District鈥檚 policies, is made against you. For Title IX complaints, the College will follow the Formal Complaint Grievance Process in聽. Complaints that do not meet the requirements of Title IX, may be investigated under聽other district policies and procedures.

Retaliation Strictly Prohibited
Any retaliation, intimidation, threats, coercion, or discrimination against any individual who makes聽a report or complaint of sexual harassment, testified, assisted, or聽participated聽or refused to participate in any manner in a Title IX investigation, proceeding, or hearing is strictly prohibited. Individuals聽who聽experience聽retaliation聽may contact the Title IX Coordinator.

Office for Civil Rights
In addition to reporting to the District/College, students may file a Title IX complaint with the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education. The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces five federal civil rights laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, and age in programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance from the Department of Education (ED). Supportive Measures
Depending on the case, supportive measures may be offered to the parties, regardless of whether a formal complaint/report has been filed. We will provide supportive measures as appropriate and as reasonably available to restore or preserve equal access to the District’s education program or activities. Supportive measures are designed to protect the safety of all parties, protect the District’s educational environment, and deter sexual harassment. Supportive measures may include:

  • Counseling
  • Course-related adjustments/academic interventions
  • Modification of work or class schedules
  • Campus escort services
  • Mutual restrictions on contact between the parties
  • Changes in work or housing locations, or leaves of absence
  • Increased security and monitoring of certain areas of the campus
  • Other similar measures
